Rising Star

Singer/songwriter turned actor, Ryctor, aka Scott Brewer first tasted success when he starred as Teen Angel in the widely successful 'Grease the Musical' which toured to sellout performances..
He has recently appeared along side Ray Liotta and Dominic Purcell as Pete Braman in the soon to be released action thriller 'Bad Karma'.
He also played the Kings Dufflepud in the latest Narnia Chronicles - Voyage of the Dawn Treader.        

The Actor

Ryctor is known in the industry as a quadtruple threat who can sing, dance, act, an all round action man who switches roles quite amicably.
In an article Ryctor is refered to as the next Hugh Jackman, when asked he smiles and replies "Iʼm flattered to be likened to such a high quality entertainer. If I'm half as good I'll be stoked." He laughs jovially at himself and itʼs this infectious outlook that is probably most like Hugh.  Ryctor is what he is, a down to earth fellow with a ʻtake me as I amʼ attitude.        

The Musician

Ryctor's artistry converges at a crossroads of styles: the solid power of rock, the timelessness of classical, the confessional narratives of modern contemporary.
Beneath the International iTunes artists photogenic looks and easy-going Aussie charm, lies a coiled musical intensity with artistic focus and flow. Fortunate to record with two-time Grammy nominated producer Todd Rubenstein and written for Film & TV, his last album "10 Minutes Later was produced by Justin Harvey (Sugar Ray, Alien Ant Farm, Fighter Pilot).        

Action Packed

Ryctor adopted the Dangerman identity at a very young age, pushing boundaries, exceeding physical limits, climbing buildings and jumping off roof tops. This combined with his mother's maiden name, Mann, later led to his nickname 'Dangerman'.
His daredevil attitude lead Ryctor to join the Australian Army becoming a Red Beret Paratrooper. He later became a lleading Stuntman / Actor, in films such as Voyage Of the Dawn Treader, Beastmaster and The Matrix.

Told he would never amont to anything. Ryctor never gaveup. "I was a teenager I was on a downward spiral, I never fit in, skipped school, fell in with the wrong crowd. Then one day I got caught, best day of my life".
“My brother David organised a trip to WA, I performed for troubled teens, attending schools giving talks, having had similar experiences myself. Kids need to know theyʼre important and they can turn their live's around. Hell if I can, anyone can”. He smiles.

What has been the biggest "WOW" moment in your life?
It was the day my son was born, I didn't realize I could love someone so much, and how it can make your life so much better.        
Why choose music and acting as a career?
Because i love them both, they go hand in hand. In music you get to write about the emotion, where in acting you get to become it.        
Where do you get your inspiration from when writing?
Whether writing for music or a movie script, I always draw the raw content from mine or others experiences. It keeps an honesty in the work.        
What are your favourite movies?
My all time favourite is the original Superman starring Christopher Reeves, which is quite funny cause my favourite western stars Genn Ford in "The Fastest Gun Alive", he played Jonathan Kent Superman's Earth father in Superman.
